It's been couldy in the morning and clear in the afternoon these days,
but today, it was so bright and clear in the morning too.

Since we still need to paint the parts which a building berth touches to,
the yard will lift up the boat to paint tonight.
So we had to finish working by noon. But we actually had little to do.
Because remaining maintenances are the work that
the boat needs to be moored, needs a lot of people, and needs opinions of race crew.
So we took time doing some minor work.

I cleaned a tool box. I'm so happy that I got rid of rust of tools.
Ando and Furukawa strained fuel. Thorugh what do you think they strained?

The answer is "stockings". Its fine texture is good to clean impurity.
I was going to take a picture, but I couldn't. Because I was struggling with
making a reservation at a hotel in Long Beach on the phone.

I finally completed the booking. I don't like to talk on the phone in English.
I get panic when I don't understadn what people say even I ask them to repeat several times.
I think people communicate with their body and facial expression, not only a language.

Furukawa went home today. Safe trip!

Ohashi and Yabe arrived today. They were both Bengal race crew for TP.

Ohashi is a designer of Bengal2 and Bengal7. His company is"VAN DE STADT Ohashi".
Everyone in our team call him "teitoku"(admiral) for some reason.
Though he now lives in Tokyo, he is from Nagoya.

Everyone told me when they cannot find him, he usually is in a cavin looking for some snacks.
He actually had a lot of snacks before we reached to the start point when we sailed for "Gokasho Race".
He ate more than I expected, so we ran out snacks before we finished.
And Ohashi got off the boat after the finish. We didn't have any snacks to eat on the way home.
As a sailor, this is what everyone told me too, he drives an aggressive helmsman, I have not seen it yet though.

Yabe is a marine photographer. I already introduced him before.
He brought me some gifts, Japanese sweet potato, and the shrimp cracker which I really love.
How much I love it? I loved it so much that my parents got me a lot of the crackers for
Christmas present for me when I was student.
Yabe didn't know it at all. Hmmm, he has a good taste.

Then we all went to the airport to pick up Umihiko, race crew.
He came with big sails. This is weired that thit is the firs time to go to the airport
even I have been here for more than a week.

"Sushi Humburger"
We went to 26Beach Restaurant near by our hotel for dinner. Actually it was second time for me.
It is a humberger place but you can find some Japanese flavor.
There is "Sushi Humberger", and Japanese taste salads such as soba salad, tofu salad, miso salad,
and dressing for house salad has sesami oil flavor.

Ando orderd "California Roll Burger". It has same ingredients as California Roll
except rice. It has a lot of avocad, looked so tasty.
I orderd The Brunch Burger.

How do you eat a big humberger?
I usually cut it half after squishing it a little bit. But it still hard to eat, I have to open my mouth so wide.
What I was told today is I hold a humberger on a plate not to drip brewis and bring my face to it.
It is common knowlegde but I've never heard it.

It's good to have a lot of people!
